Maria Rapciak, D.O. is a general surgeon in Southwest Suburbs of Chicago specializing in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, including breast, hernia, and thyroid surgeries.

Dr. Rapciak graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Xavier University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She attended Chicago​ ​College​ ​of​ ​Osteopathic​ ​Medicine in Downers​ ​Grove,​ ​IL for medical school, graduating with special honors by the Sigma Sigma Phi Society, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and the Polish-American Medical Society. Dr. Rapciak then spent 5 years of residency at Saint​ ​James​ ​Hospital in Olympia​ ​Fields,​ ​IL. 

She is an active member of the American​ ​College​ ​of​ ​Osteopathic​ ​Surgeons, American​ ​College​ ​of​ ​Surgeons, American​ ​Osteopathic​ ​Association, and the Polish-American​ ​Medical​ ​Society.

In her free time, Dr. Rapciak enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and cooking. She is also fluent in Polish and conversational in Spanish.
